Kwajo asked what I wanted my followers to know about how I was doing. I told him the truth: I’m a different person now than I was before, but in a good way. In the darkness I found a key, and I believe that key was God, and I got through it.
Then I turned the question around. What about the people who don’t find that key? What about the people who don’t have friends? So, to anyone following me: don’t worry about me. Worry about the system.
It is the plainest statement of faith anywhere in the archive, said on a day I could least afford to be eloquent, and I have not improved on it since. I didn’t need to be. It was true.
