And the thing is, like, I don't agree with that.
But the problem again, I thought the child is the victim.
And obviously as a mixed person, I'm gonna keep saying that.
That the child is the victim. Because fam.
They can have their little, I don't know, like, slave master relationship. That's disgusting.
But if they want to do that in their bedroom. Okay.
But your child is gonna grow up.
The room
This is the principle under every opinion I have about dating on this tape, and I said it as bluntly as I could. The child is the victim — and as a mixed person I am going to keep saying it.
Adults can have whatever relationship they want. What I called disgusting is the fetish version of it, the master-and-slave dynamic people play at. Do that in your bedroom if you must. But your child is going to grow up.
That child will walk into a classroom and a country that has already decided what they are. If the people who made them romanticised a look instead of loving a person, the child is the one who carries it. Every mixed child is the one who has to live in the result. I am one of them, and I am the one who ended up on a podcast explaining it.
